During my bachelor studies, I made an unconventional choice to delve deep into professional scientific activity. Despite my young age, I managed to elevate the level of my research, aided by excellent supervision. This led to invitations to international conferences, where I presented my findings and received valuable feedback.
From exploring topics such as hospitality management in the Czech Republic to dissecting the language of advertising in Western European countries, I shared my insights at these conferences, engaging with esteemed scholars and expanding my knowledge base.
Presenting my findings at international conferences was a defining moment, as it culminated in receiving a scholarship under the esteemed Erasmus Mundus Education Broadening Experience project. This recognition not only validated my academic pursuits but also opened doors to study abroad and continue my researches.
Moreover, during that time, I launched my career as a freelance marketing expert and content creator.
I believe that my involvement in scientific pursuits has naturally led me to the realm of teaching. While not my primary focus, it has evolved from a mere hobby into a cherished professional endeavor, greatly appreciated by my students.
I've authored numerous courses in Business and Marketing, along with Business English Communication, delivering engaging lectures for both online schools and offline colleges catering to adults. Moreover, I've obtained a TEFL certification, attesting to my proficiency in teaching English as a foreign language with professionalism and expertise.
I always knew that someday things would lead me to owning my own company. After devoting many years to researching economics and marketing, and collaborating with various business sectors, becoming an entrepreneur seemed inevitable.
However, freelancing came with its fair share of challenges. Being solely responsible for every aspect of my life demanded discipline and resilience. From managing income fluctuations to navigating the absence of health insurance and official days off, it was a journey marked by freedom and difficulty in equal measure.
Nevertheless, I embraced this lifestyle, finding solace in its flexibility and the myriad of projects it offered. As my client base expanded, I took the bold step of assembling a proficient team of writers, designers, and SEO experts, delegating tasks while spearheading content marketing strategies and brand development.

For three years, I juggled content marketing with running online workshops. But in 2022, I finally made a big call. I decided to say goodbye to offering content agency services altogether and throw myself fully into Art Hub MAK.
Since 2019, I've been at the helm of Art Hub MAK.
As we evolved, our focus sharpened on artpreneurs at large – individuals navigating the creative industries with a goal of mastering their niche expertise while maintaining a harmonious balance between work and other aspects of life.
We set out to identify the primary challenges they encountered and to develop strategies for overcoming them.
MAK emerged organically during the pandemic. I began organizing online workshops for my team of content creators and journalists to keep them motivated and help them develop their writing skills. Eventually, we expanded into other creative and entertaining activities, such as yoga classes (yes, I also teach yoga as a hobby) and small pitching tournaments to discuss various projects.
Over time, these workshops gained popularity beyond my colleagues, leading to the establishment of a media company offering online workshops for business and fiction writers. The members of the content agency transitioned to become the marketing department of the new company, which we named MAK.
Incidentally, MAK originates from the Ukrainian language, representing "Workshop by Anastasiia Kalinina" (Майстерні Анастасії Калініної). When we transitioned from the r*zzian to the English-speaking market in 2022, we chose to retain the same name, as "MAK" also means "poppy," a symbol of freedom.
This holds great significance for us, as our company is fundamentally about freedom – the freedom to enjoy your work, maintain productivity, avoid burnout, earn money doing what you love, and continually grow your skills at your own pace, without feeling pressured to keep up with others

MAK boasts a unique library of practical knowledge, tips, and tools derived from real-life expertise
We offer online and offline training in marketing, art, and maintaining stable mental health
Yet, amidst the academic and professional achievements, there were sacrifices. I set aside my passion for writing novels and poetry, believing it was a necessary trade-off for career advancement. But those creative embers never truly dimmed. Recognition from Ukrainian publishing houses reignited that spark, reminding me of the joy and fulfillment that artistic expression brings.
Dancing has always been my sanctuary, a realm where I lose myself in movement and rhythm. While I didn't pursue it professionally early on, I dedicated myself to honing my skills across various styles.
Alongside dance, hatha yoga emerged as a source of balance and tranquility. Becoming a certified instructor was a milestone, allowing me to share the transformative power of yoga with others.
It was always a challange since I was struggling to have a perfect work-and-life balance.
That was an issue of compromising, but later on I relized that I do not wont to it.
